Carling Technologies’ Contura ll and lll snap-in rocker switches provide numerous unique options, from rating and circuits, to color and illuminations.  These single or double pole switches feature removable actuators in a variety of styles and colors.  The actuators are made with thermoplastic polycarbonate and offer either a hard nylon overlay or a “soft-touch” elastomer overlay, with options for illumination with either square or bar shaped lenses.

Triad Next-Gen PC Mount Split Pack Transformers


Triad’s -C2 Models F and FS PC Mount Split Pack Transformers are the next generation of transformer with rugged construction that meets UL5085 Class 2/3 requirements and includes TUV approval for demanding applications around the globe.  Triad’s leading-edge bobbin design provides superior electrical performance combined with a new robust printed-circuit board (PCB) pin design for highly reliable mechanical strength and integrity when mounted to the circuit board.

All Triad -C2 Models F and FS PC Mount Split Pack Transformers utilize a Class F insulation system, which is suitable for operating environments up to 155?C and more robust than typical Class B 130°C parts found in similar products.  They are high potential (hipot) tested for dielectric withstanding voltage (DWV)strength to 4200V for both single and dual winding configurations, which is a significant improvement from the industry standard 2500V for this type of three-flange bobbin construction.

The –C2 Models F and FS PC Mount Split Pack Transformers are non-concentrically wound, with both the primary windings and the secondary windings placed side-by-side.  Unlike the secondary-on-top-of-primary designs common in some transformer designs, thesplit bobbin winding and low capacitive coupling eliminate costly electrostatic shielding that reduces total installed cost.  They are designed with a dual, independent secondary configuration that can also be connected in series or parallel to increase output voltage flexibility.

The versatile and cost-effective –C2 Models F and FS PC Mount Split Pack Transformers are suitable for a wide variety of PC boards, including computers, industrial controls, power equipment, communication systems and other devices. They operate over a wide range from 1.1 to 56.0 VA. Depending on the configuration selected, the primary is always 115 V, 50/60 Hz, and the secondary in series range is from 10 to 56 V with the parallel from 5 to 28V.

The –C2 Models F and FS Split Pack Transformers’ rectangular package features 6 pins on the single primary and 8 pins on the dual primary.  Depending on the model configuration specified, they range in size from 1 1/8-x-1 3/8 inches to 2 3/16-x-2 5/8 inches.

“The result is what matters” – this also applies to efficiency. After all, it is not just the efficiency of individual components which is decisive, but rather the result of their interaction. This is where RadiPac shines with its impressive statistics. The impeller, motor and electronics system are all optimally adjusted to one another, leading to an overall efficiency of well above 60%.

A significant contribution to this efficiency is made by the external rotor design GreenTech EC motor. This is a mains-powered, permanently-energised synchronous motor with electronic commutation (also called BLDC). Its efficiency is significantly higher than the efficiency class IE4, and it achieves this without the use of supply-critical rare-earth magnets. The construction of other permanent magnet motors of comparable efficiency with internal rotor designs requires the use of these rare-earth magnets. This also results in a loss of compactness and simplicity of assembly and commissioning due to the necessary external control electronics.

the electronics and motor form one unit – this doesn’t just save space, but also ensures easy installation: in this respect, an integrated electronics system for commutation and control replaces an external frequency converter. As the motor and electronics in the motor system are already perfectly adjusted to one another, additional electronic filters and shielded cables are unnecessary, as is an external motor protecting switch. The result: there is no longer the need for cost-intensive adjustments before commissioning or for grounding and shielding measures. Plug-and-Play is that simple in ventilation and air-conditioning technology.

The RadiPac cube variants are designed for installation with a horizontal shaft. This mounting position allows the RadiPac to be mounted on spring or rubber vibration elements in order to decouple vibration. Moreover, the design is stackable and easy to handle. There are also advantages in terms of sustainability, as packaging material is not required, and must therefore not be disposed of afterwards.
