The SMART Position Sensor 225 mm Linear Configuration is Honeywell’s second non-contacting linear position sensor, joining the SMART Position Sensor 75 mm Configuration. Honeywell’s SMART Position Sensors are one of the most durable, adaptable and lightweight linear position devices. Their simple, non-contact design eliminates mechanical failure mechanisms, reduces wear and tear, improves reliability and durability, enhances operation efficiency and safety, and minimizes downtime.

• The 225 mm SMART Position Sensors sense the position of a magnet relative to a sensor from 0 mm to 225 mm [0 in to 8.86 in].
• Two output options are offered: analog output or digital output for use in control systems requiring a RS232-type interface with a 57.6 kbits/s baud rate.

Honeywell Expands it’s Zephyr Air Flow Sensor Ranges

Honeywell has extended its Zephyr™ airflow sensor portfolio with a new digital version that provides an airflow range from 0 to 20 SLPM (Standard Liters per Minute) and 0 to 200 SLPM. Honeywell’s new Zephyr™ airflow sensor has been designed specifically for customers who don’t want to create their own bypass solution. With this new launch, Honeywell has affixed the Zephyr building block airflow sensor directly to the bypass. This design eliminates customers having to design their own bypass, saving them time and effort.

Honeywell Zephyr™ HAF Series sensors provide a digital interface for reading airflow over specified full-scale flow and compensated temperature ranges. The thermally isolated heater and temperature sensing elements help these sensors provide a fast response to air or gas flow.

Zephyr sensors are designed to measure mass flow of air and other non-corrosive gases. Standard flow ranges are 20 SLPM or 200 SLPM, with custom flow ranges available. The sensors are fully calibrated and temperature compensated with an onboard Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC).
